Manasa Computers

We've been running Manasa Computers in Mathekere for a while now. Most days it’s just us sitting here with towers and screens, trying to figure out why a motherboard isn't booting or helping someone get their printer working again. Bangalore has a lot of tech places, but we stay small and keep things simple for the locals around here. People come in with laptops that have spilled tea on them or just need a new battery. We don't have a big fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s just the shop. If you’ve walked around Mathekere, you’ve probably seen us near the main road. Sometimes it gets busy and there are parts everywhere on the desks. We try to get things back to people when we say we will, but sometimes parts take a day or two to arrive from the suppliers. We handle basic repairs, software installs, and sometimes building a custom rig for a student. It’s honest work. We don't use big words to explain why your hard drive failed, we just show you the part and tell you what it costs. It’s just how we do things here. The shop is small but it fits everything we need. Most of our regulars are just people living nearby who know us by name. It’s a bit messy with cables sometimes, but we know where everything is. That’s about it for us. We just keep the lights on and the fans spinning while we work away. There is always a lot to do.
