You can find us at Krishnarajpuram K R Road, over in the Shankarapuram area. It’s a decent-sized spot where people come to sit for a bit. We get a lot of workers from the nearby offices who want a break from their desks. The tea kettle is almost never turned off during the day. We have some wooden chairs that have been here since we opened, and they might creak a little when you sit down. The menu is written on a small board near the entrance. Sometimes we change things up if we find better vegetables at the market that morning. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just the traditional way of doing things. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint but we haven’t found the time to close for a day to get it done. My wife helps me with the accounts in the evening after she finishes her own work. We have a few ceiling fans that keep the air moving, which is nice when it gets humid outside. Most people come in for the same thing every day. We recognize the faces even if we don't always know the names. It's a loud place sometimes with everyone talking at once. We don't mind the noise, it means people are comfortable here. We try to keep the prices fair so everyone can afford to come in. The sun hits the front windows around 4 PM, so we usually pull the shades down then.
