Mamatha Foods

Our place is tucked away in the Peenya Industrial Area, specifically over on Rajgopalnagar Main Road. Being in the 2nd Stage at 118/A1 means we see a lot of workers and drivers passing through every single day. We started Mamatha Foods because there was a need for something straightforward in this part of town. The kitchen gets hot, especially in the middle of the day, but that is just how it goes when you are preparing stuff. We aren't a big corporation with fancy offices; it is mostly just us in the back getting things ready and making sure the supplies are coming in. The neighborhood is very busy with trucks and machinery noise all the time. People know us by word of mouth mostly. We don’t do much advertising because the work speaks for itself. It’s a bit of a dusty area with all the construction and industry around, but we keep our space tidy enough. The mornings are the busiest when we are setting up for the day’s orders. Sometimes we run out of things earlier than expected if a big group comes by unexpectedly. It’s a simple operation, really. We just focus on the food and making sure it gets out on time to whoever needs it. There’s no complicated philosophy here, just people working hard to provide what the local crowd needs. We’ve been at this spot for a bit now and have gotten to know the rhythms of the industrial area well. It feels like home.
