Even though the name says Makino India Private Limited Bangalore, this specific office is actually located at 892 Basant Vihar in Kota, Rajasthan. It’s a bit of a distance from the main headquarters, but we’ve made a home for ourselves here. Basant Vihar is a decent neighborhood, and our building is quite easy to spot once you get onto the right street. It’s a two-story structure and we occupy a good portion of it. Inside, it’s mostly just a regular working environment. We have our cubicles set up, though they aren’t the fancy modern ones. Most of our day is spent on the phone or working on the computer. It gets very hot in Kota, as everyone knows, so we rely heavily on the air conditioning during the summer months. There’s a small kitchen area where we make tea and heat up our lunch. It’s nothing special, but it’s a nice break from the desk. We don’t have a big sign out front, just a small plate with the name on it. Most of the people who come here are either staff or delivery drivers. It’s a quiet, productive place. We don’t go in for anything flashy or expensive. We just show up, do what needs to be done, and then head home. It’s a very standard office life for those of us working here in the Rajasthan heat every day.
