Mahaveer Electro Controls

Our shop is tucked away in Chickpet, specifically at 9 Chickpet Beega Mudra Lane on M T Street. If you know this area, you know how crowded it gets with all the narrow lanes and people carrying heavy bundles. It is quite a task just getting through the A M Lane intersection some mornings. We have been here at Mahaveer Electro Controls for a long time, surrounded by wires, switches, and all sorts of electrical components piled up to the ceiling. The space is small and we often have to move three boxes just to find one specific part a customer asked for. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons, especially when the street outside is packed. We mostly deal with local contractors and people from the neighborhood who need something fixed at home. There’s no fancy display or air conditioning here, just metal racks and the smell of new plastic and copper. Every morning starts with pulling up the shutter and sweeping the front step, though the dust from the street comes right back in. My hands are usually a bit dirty from handling the stock, and the phone rings pretty often with people asking for prices. It’s a loud, busy place but it’s our corner of the market. We know most of the other shopkeepers around here, so there is always someone to grab a tea with when things quiet down for five minutes.
