Mahadeshwara Caterings

We are based at No.5, 8th Cross in Ganapathi Nagara. It’s just off the Hosakerehalli Main Road, not too far from the big Mysore Road. If you know the area, you know how busy that main road can get with all the buses and trucks. We’re a bit further back, which really helps with the noise while we’re working. Mahadeshwara Caterings is a family-style operation. We have the big stoves going very early in the morning. The smell of spices usually fills up the whole 8th Cross by about 7 AM. It’s a lot of heavy lifting, moving those big metal vats and heavy sacks of rice around. We don’t have a fancy storefront or anything like that. It’s just our workspace where we get the cooking done. Ganapathi Nagara is a hardworking neighborhood. You see people heading out to their jobs while we’re already halfway through our prep. Sometimes we run out of something and have to dash out to the market on Mysore Road. It’s always a bit of a scramble with the traffic, but we make it work somehow. We’ve been here for a while and the neighbors don't seem to mind the cooking smells too much. We focus on the food and getting it packed up into the vans before the morning traffic gets too bad. It’s honest, tiring work, even if it leaves us pretty exhausted by the end of the day. Just a small team doing our best.
