I have been around Avalahalli for a long time now, and Someshwar Society is a place most locals know pretty well. My spot at number 140 isn’t fancy or anything, just a regular space where I get my work done day after day. You might see some dust on the shelves if it has been a windy week, but that is just how things are in this part of town. I usually start the day with a cup of coffee and a look at what needs doing on my desk. The neighbors are mostly quiet, though you hear the occasional scooter zooming by or kids playing in the street when school is out. People stop by sometimes just to ask for directions or say hello. I do not have a big team or anything like that, just a couple of folks who help out when things get a bit busy. We do not really worry about fancy decorations or having the latest gadgets. The fan makes a bit of noise on high speed, but it keeps the air moving during the hot afternoons. If you are looking for 140, just look for the gate that needs a bit of oil. It is a simple life and we like it that way. We just focus on the daily tasks.
