If you are walking down Double Road in Banaswadi, you might see our sign at number 2. We have been in this spot near the Banaswadi Post for quite a long time now. It’s a busy area and the road is always full of cars and scooters zooming past. Our office isn't anything special to look at, just a door and some windows where we sit and handle our daily business. We start pretty early, usually before the heat really kicks in, and stay until the evening rush starts up again. There is a small tea stall just a few steps away where we go when we need a break from the phones. Dealing with paperwork and people all day can be tiring, but we like being in this part of town. The post office being so close helps a lot when we have to send things out. Sometimes the rain makes the road a bit of a mess, but that is just part of living here. We have a few old chairs for guests and a big table that is usually covered in folders and pens. We don't spend much time worrying about how the place looks as long as we can find what we are looking for. It is a local operation, run by people who grew up around here and know the neighborhood well. We just try to be honest and get through the pile of work on the desk. That is basically our day, from start to finish.
