Made In India Veg Chinese Cuisine is over in Banashankari 3rd Stage 297. We chose this spot because it’s a busy residential area and people around here seem to like their noodles. It is strictly a vegetarian place, which makes things easier for us in the kitchen. We don't use any meat products at all. The kitchen is always smelling like fried garlic and soy sauce. It can get pretty hot back there when all the burners are going at once. We have a few tables out front, but a lot of people just take their food home in plastic containers. We try to keep the menu pretty basic with things people recognize like fried rice and manchurian. Nothing too experimental. Banashankari is a good place to be because the neighbors are friendly and we know most of the delivery drivers by name now. Sometimes the line gets a bit long on Sunday evenings, and we have to tell people it’ll be a twenty-minute wait. We aren't trying to be a five-star hotel or anything. It’s just a kitchen where we cook food that we think tastes good. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint soon, but for now, we’re just focused on getting the orders out on time. It’s a small operation, just a few of us chopping vegetables and tossing pans all day long. We try to keep the floors swept but they get sticky from the steam and grease by the time we finish up each night.
