Macmillan India Ltd

This is the Macmillan India Ltd office over at No 262, 2nd Cross in M S Nagar. We’re tucked away in the Chikka Banasawadi area. It’s a pretty decent spot, though the traffic on the main roads can get a bit much during the rush hour in the morning and evening. I’ve been working here for a bit, and it’s mostly just us handling the day-to-day tasks. The building isn’t new, but it works for what we need to get done. We deal with a lot of books and educational materials. You’ll see boxes stacked up pretty often in the hallway. The neighborhood has changed a lot lately with more people moving in. Sometimes finding parking on the cross road is a headache, especially for the delivery trucks that come by. We try to keep things quiet so we don't bother the neighbors too much. It’s a regular office vibe, nothing too loud or flashy. We have tea breaks together in the afternoon which is nice for a bit of a chat. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or take a short bike ride to get here. It’s a steady kind of job. We just focus on getting the shipments out and keeping the records straight for everyone. There’s always a lot of paper moving around since we are in the publishing business. It feels like a solid part of the local community here in Bangalore. We like it here and the work is consistent.
