M T N Bearing Counter

Our shop is over on Stephens Square, right near the Chandini Chowk Road Cross on HKP Road. It’s a crowded area, full of shops selling all sorts of mechanical things. We specialize in bearings. If you walk in, you’ll see shelves from the floor to the ceiling packed with boxes of different sizes. It smells a bit like metal and grease in here, but that’s normal for this kind of business. We spend a lot of time looking through catalogs or climbing ladders to find the right part for someone. Most of our customers are mechanics or people trying to fix something at home. It’s a lot of "do you have this specific size?" and "will this fit?" We’ve been at this counter for years. The wood on the counter is worn down in the spots where people lean while they wait. We don't have a lot of space to move around, especially when a big delivery comes in. It gets a bit chaotic with boxes everywhere. The area is always noisy with horns and people shouting, but we’ve got used to it. Sometimes we have a quick lunch right at the desk because it’s too busy to leave. It’s a straightforward shop. We don’t do anything fancy, we just sell bearings to people who need them. It’s a small, dusty place, but it works for us. We keep the doors open all day for the breeze and the customers who drop by.
