Our office is over on 17th Cross, near the Arabic College post area in Bangalore. We do management consulting, which basically means we spend our time talking to other businesses and trying to help them figure out their internal problems. It’s not always easy work, and there’s a lot of brainstorming and arguing involved sometimes. We have a small space at 88 2 where we keep our files and meet up to discuss our current projects. It’s not a high-rise office with a nice view, just a regular place where we can actually focus on the work. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different client locations across the city. We’ve been at this for a while and have seen all kinds of business issues, from small stuff to big disasters. We don’t use a lot of big words or complicated management theories that no one understands. We just look at what’s actually happening and try to find a practical way forward. Some days are just filled with writing long reports and looking at spreadsheets. It gets a bit monotonous sometimes, but we generally like the challenge of a new problem. The team is a mix of different backgrounds, which really helps when we are looking at things from different angles. We aren't trying to change the whole world, just trying to help local companies run a bit better and stay afloat. It’s a very straightforward approach to a complicated job.
