Looking Job

We are over near the Mr Ramaia Kempapura Main Road, right by the J P Building in Yamalur, Bangalore 37. The name we use is Looking Job. It’s a simple name for a simple setup. Yamalur is a bit of a different side of Bangalore, and things here move at their own pace. Our office is easy to miss if you aren't looking closely. It’s a ground floor space with a heavy metal door that sticks sometimes when it’s raining. Inside, it’s mostly just us and a few computers. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, so we see all the commuters going by. We aren't a big corporation with fancy titles. We’re just folks who know the local job market around this part of Bangalore. Sometimes the power goes out in Yamalur, so we keep some flashlights handy. It’s just part of being here. We don't have a polished pitch or a marketing team. We just talk to people like normal humans. If someone needs a hand finding work, they come in and we see what we can do. It’s a practical business. We drink a lot of chai and spend hours on the phone. It gets noisy with the traffic from Kempapura Main Road, but we’re used to it. We just do our bit every day, making sure the papers are filed and the phones are answered. It's how we keep the lights on.
