Like Beauty Parlour

Our place, Like Beauty Parlour, is situated on the ground floor of building number 25/1 on Stephens Road. We are right in the middle of Frazer Town, which is a part of Bangalore that always feels alive. Being near the KEB office makes it simple for people to find us when they are out doing their errands. The shop is on the ground floor, so nobody has to worry about climbing any stairs, which is nice for some of our older regulars. We have a few chairs and the usual equipment you’d expect for beauty work. The street outside can get quite narrow with all the parked scooters and people walking to the local markets. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, but we just wait it out or use the backup if it’s a long one. Most of the people who come in are from the houses just down the road. We know many of them by name because they have been coming here since we opened. It’s not a very fancy setup, just a practical space where we can focus on the hair and skin jobs people ask for. The walls are a simple color and we try to keep the magazines on the table somewhat current. It’s just us working here, making sure everything is clean for the next person who walks through the door from Stephens Road. We usually finish up when the sun goes down and the street lights come on.
