Life Style Novelties & Gift Centre

We have been running Life Style Novelties & Gift Centre at 30/1 Sadashiv Peth in Doddakallasandra for a long time now. It’s a small place, and most of the time we are just dusting the shelves or trying to fit new items into the glass cases. You can find all sorts of things here, from plastic flowers to small statues and birthday cards that have been sitting there for a bit. The address is easy to find once you are in the Doddakallasandra area. We spend our mornings opening up the shutters and seeing who walks by on the street. It’s not a high-end shop, just a regular local spot for people to pick up a quick gift. Sometimes the shop feels a bit cramped when we get a fresh delivery of toys or mugs. We try to keep things in order, but the small space makes it difficult. The afternoon sun hits the front window pretty hard, so we usually sit near the back where it’s cooler. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know where every single item is hidden. Customers usually come in looking for something specific, and we spend time digging through boxes to find it. It’s a quiet life, really. We talk to the other shopkeepers nearby and share a tea now and then. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but our shop stays pretty much the same year after year.
