Our shop is at No.1, MR Towers in Bommanahalli. It’s a very busy part of Bangalore, right near the theatre, so there’s always music or noise from the crowds. The traffic on the main road is usually stuck, which actually helps people notice our sign while they are waiting in their cars. We are on the ground floor, which makes it easy for people to just step in. The space is filled with shelves from floor to ceiling, packed with all sorts of medicine boxes and health supplies. I’ve spent countless hours organizing these shelves, though they always seem to get messy again by the end of the week. My staff and I know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a jumble to anyone else. We get a lot of people who are just passing through or who live in the apartments nearby. Bangalore has a way of being very fast, but inside the shop, we try to take a moment to actually help the person standing at the counter. Sometimes we have to deal with the power cuts or the rain that floods the street outside, but that’s just life in Bommanahalli. We aren't a big chain pharmacy; we are just a local spot in MR Towers. We open early and stay open until the last movie at the theatre is usually halfway through.
