Lee Packers & Movers is tucked away on Nandi Gali, which is on National Library Road in BTM Layout 2nd Stage. Our address is 90/1. It’s a busy area and we’ve been here for a good while. Moving house is a messy business, and that’s what we help with. We spend most of our time wrapping things in bubble wrap or carrying boxes down stairs. It’s hard on the back, but we’re used to it. We have a small truck that we park nearby when it's not out on a job. Most of our calls come from people in the neighborhood who are shifting to a new flat. We don't have a big office; it’s mostly just a place to store our packing materials and take phone calls. Sometimes things get broken—not often, but it happens because moving is tricky. We try to be careful with people's stuff. It’s just me and a few guys who work together. We know the shortcuts around BTM to avoid the worst of the traffic. It’s not a fancy job, but people always need help when they move. We usually start early in the morning before it gets too hot. By the end of the day, we're pretty tired. We just do our work and go home. On rainy days, it’s much harder because everything has to be covered up. We’ve been at this long enough to know how to handle the different seasons in the city. It’s just us, some tape, and a lot of boxes.
