Lecturer

I’m based over on Hannumanthappa Road, specifically at 3A, which is just off the Kammanahalli Main Road. It’s in the Rspalya area, near Msznagar Post in Bangalore. Living and working here as a lecturer means dealing with the constant buzz and movement of the city. Bangalore has changed a lot since I first arrived, but this little corner still feels like home to me. My place is usually cluttered with journals and research papers because that’s just the nature of this job. I spend a good chunk of my day traveling to the campus and then coming back here to recharge for the next session. The traffic on Kammanahalli Main Road can be a real nightmare, so I’ve learned to be patient or just leave earlier. I’ve been in this profession for years, and it’s mostly about the routine of teaching and learning. My neighbors are a mix of families and other working people. We all just go about our business without much fuss. Sometimes I take my work to a local cafe when the house feels too quiet or lonely. I’m not one for big speeches about what I do; I just show up and teach my classes as best as I can. The Msznagar area is convenient because everything is close by, even if the streets are a bit narrow and crowded. It’s a practical place to live. I have a small desk tucked into the corner of my room where I do all my grading.
