Laxmi Enterprise

Our place is on the ground floor over at Jingade market, which is right in the middle of everything in Chickpet. Laxmi Enterprise is basically just a regular shop tucked away in a building at number 757. If you know the market, you know it gets incredibly crowded by the afternoon. We usually get here early to beat the worst of the traffic and get the lights on. It’s a bit dim inside sometimes because the buildings are so close together, but we have enough space to get our work done. The floor is concrete and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We spend a lot of time just moving boxes around and keeping track of what is coming in and what is going out. There is always someone shouting something out on the street or a scooter trying to squeeze past a delivery truck. It is a noisy place to work, but you get used to the rhythm of it after a few weeks. We don't have a website with fancy photos or a big mission statement. We just show up, do the job, and close up when the sun goes down. Most of the people who stop by are just regulars or folks lost in the market looking for something specific. We help out where we can and keep things moving. It is a basic setup, nothing more and nothing less. We keep a small radio on the shelf to listen to the news.
