Over at Chandra Layout, we’ve got this small office for Laurent And Benon Management Consultants. We are tucked away on 13th B Main in the Vijaynagar area of Bangalore. It’s a busy part of town, so there is always something going on outside our windows. We do management consulting, which basically means a lot of meetings and looking at spreadsheets all day long. It isn't always the most exciting work, but it keeps us busy and pays the bills. The office itself is nothing special, just a few rooms with enough chairs for everyone. We like being in this part of Bangalore because it feels more like a real neighborhood than the flashy tech parks further out. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet acts up, but we just deal with it like everyone else does. We aren't trying to change the world here, just helping people out with their business problems. There’s a good little spot nearby where we grab lunch most days. Most of our clients are just regular people trying to get their businesses running better. We don’t wear suits unless we absolutely have to. It's a pretty relaxed environment, though we do put in the hours when a deadline is coming up. We’ve been at this address for a bit and know the neighbors fairly well by now. It’s just us doing our thing in Vijaynagar, trying to stay organized and keep the paperwork moving in the right direction every single day.
