Up in Bangalore, we are located at 107, Wildflower Hall Apartments. This is at 9 Rustom Bagh, right near Manipal Hospital on Airport Road. It’s a busy area because of the hospital traffic, but being in an apartment building for an office gives the Larsen And Toubro Ltd Emsys team a bit of a different feel. It’s not your typical cubicle farm. We have rooms that have been converted into workspaces, which makes the whole day feel a bit more human. The Bangalore weather is usually nice, so we keep the windows open when the traffic noise isn't too bad. We spend our time on technical work and coordination, often losing track of time because there is always something to fix or update. We don't use a lot of fancy corporate talk here. We just discuss what's broken and how we are going to fix it. The kitchen is always full of empty coffee mugs, and the hallway has boxes of equipment waiting to be shipped out. It’s a bit cluttered, but that’s because we are actually doing things. We don't have a polished "About Us" page because we are too busy working. We just want people to know where we are and that we are a group of regular people doing our best to keep things running. It’s a functional space that suits the way we work, without any unnecessary bells and whistles.
