Lapteck

Our small shop, Lapteck, is over at Shop No 13 in Kalyan Nagar. Specifically, we're at 221/1 in the Rabindranath Tagore Nagar area. It’s a bit of a busy spot, but we like the energy of the neighborhood. Mostly, we spend our time fixing computers and looking at hardware problems that people bring in. The shop is usually filled with parts, tools, and a few half-assembled laptops on the workbench. It’s not the biggest place, so things can get a little cluttered when we have a lot of repairs going on at once. We don't have a big corporate staff, just a couple of us who know our way around a motherboard. People from around the area stop by when their screens break or when their machines won't start up. We just take a look, see what’s wrong, and try to get it back to them as soon as we can. There’s no fancy lobby or anything like that here. You just walk in, talk to us across the counter, and we see what we can do. Sometimes the street outside gets noisy with traffic, but we've gotten used to it over the years. We stay open until the evening, making sure we finish up the day's work. It’s a straightforward business and we just enjoy working with our hands and solving those little technical puzzles that come our way every day. It’s a simple life here at Shop No 13 and we like it.
