Lalitha Narayan

My place is situated at 108 KengalHanumanthaiah Road, which a lot of people just call Cinema Road. It’s a busy stretch of town with a lot of movement throughout the day. I’ve been here for some time now, managing things from this small office. It’s not a very large space, but it has everything I need to stay organized. I spend most of my mornings going through files and making sure everything is where it should be. Since I’m right on Cinema Road, there’s always something happening outside the window, which keeps things interesting. People stop by to chat or drop off things quite often. I don’t use any complicated systems, just some ledgers and a computer for the essentials. It’s a one-person operation for the most part, so I have to keep track of everything myself. Sometimes it gets a little overwhelming when several things happen at once, but I just take it one step at a time. The building is older, but it’s sturdy and in a location that everyone recognizes. I’ve gotten to know the other shop owners nearby, and we all kind of look out for each other. It’s a good community to be a part of. I like the routine of opening up in the morning and seeing the street come to life. It’s a practical way to run things and it works for me. I’ve always preferred being in the middle of the action like this.
