Lakme Studio

Our studio is on the ground floor of Imperial Court, at 33/2 Cunningham Road. It’s a nice building in a part of Bangalore that’s always been pretty upscale. We do hair, skin, and makeup here. It isn't a huge place, just a comfortable spot for people to come and get some grooming done. We’ve got a small team of stylists and technicians who have been working in the beauty industry for quite a while. Most of us just enjoy the work and the people we meet. Cunningham Road is a busy street, so we see a lot of foot traffic. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside, especially on weekends, but we try to keep things moving. We don’t do any of that fancy corporate talk. We just listen to what someone wants with their hair or their skin and then get to work. It’s a very hands-on job. There’s always the smell of hair products and the sound of dryers going. We’ve been at this location for some time now, so we know many of our neighbors. It’s a straightforward business. People come in looking one way and leave feeling a bit better about themselves. We like the local feel of the shop. It’s just us doing our best with the skills we have. No big bells and whistles, just a regular studio on a well-known road. We're usually here from morning until evening, just keeping the chairs filled and doing our jobs.
