Lady Vailankanni High School & P U College

Our school and PU college are located in Varthur, tucked right behind the Vinayaka Theatre. Varthur has changed a lot lately, but we are still here in our usual spot. The location makes it easy for students to find us, even though the lane can get a bit congested during the morning rush. The building is a mix of high school classrooms and sections for the PU college students. It’s a lively place because of the wide age range of the kids here. You’ll see the little ones in the morning and the older students hanging around later in the afternoon. The classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and blackboards that have seen a lot of chalk. We have a small courtyard where students gather during their breaks. It can get pretty loud when everyone is out there at once. The staff room is usually a mess of textbooks and tea cups. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. People just walk in and ask for what they need. Most of the teachers have been with us for years and live in the surrounding area. We deal with the usual school stuff, like fixing the gate or organizing the annual sports day. It is a straightforward local institution that serves the families around Varthur without any unnecessary fuss or complicated corporate talk. It is just a place for education.
