About L R Cambridge School – Education in Bengaluru
L R Cambridge School has been part of Wilson Garden for a long time. You can find us at No.63 on the 12th Cross, right near the 5th Main Road. It’s a busy neighborhood, and the morning drop-off is always a bit of a scramble with the narrow streets and all the traffic. We’ve got kids coming in from all around the local blocks. The school building isn't a modern glass tower; it’s a regular place where we try to keep the desks steady and the blackboards clean. Teachers here have been around for years, and they know most of the parents by name. Sometimes the bell rings a minute late, or we have to move a class because of a leaky roof during the rains, but that’s just how it goes. We don’t do big glossy brochures. Most people hear about us from their neighbors or cousins. It’s a place for learning the basics—math, science, and how to get along with each other. The playground isn't huge, but the kids make it work during their breaks. We spend our days making sure the kids are actually in their seats and doing their homework. It gets noisy, especially around lunchtime, but it’s a good kind of noise. The uniforms are a specific shade that everyone recognizes in the area. We don't have a big fancy auditorium, so we mostly hold our meetings in the main hall which gets a bit stuffy when it's full. Some of the desks have names scratched into them from students who were here years ago. It’s that kind of place. We’re just trying to provide a steady spot for kids to grow up.
