Our place is out on Thigalarapalya Main Road, right in the Ragavendra Industrial Estate. If you know the Annapurneshwari Nagar area, we aren't too hard to find. It’s a busy spot with lots of trucks coming and going from the other workshops nearby. Being in Balaji Nagar and Vaddarapalya means there’s always a lot of noise, mostly from metal hitting metal or engines revving up. We keep a lot of heavy equipment at number 17. The floors are concrete and usually have a few oil spots here and there, no matter how much we sweep. It’s not a place where you’d want to wear your best clothes. We spend a lot of time checking parts and making sure the machines are sitting right so they don't get damaged. The office is just a small corner partitioned off with some plywood, where we keep the computer and the files. It gets pretty hot under the tin roof in the afternoons, so we usually have a couple of big industrial fans blowing all day. We’ve got a small crew of guys who know their way around a wrench. We don’t do much advertising; most people just hear about us from other shops in the estate. We’re usually here from early morning until the sun goes down, just making sure the orders are ready for pickup.
