L & T Construction

Our office for L & T Construction is at 10/1, First Floor, Palace Road. It is an older building with a narrow staircase that we climb every morning. We have a lot of blueprints and rolled-up papers sitting on the desks. It is a bit messy with all the project folders piled up. From the windows on Palace Road, we can see the traffic and the people walking by. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at local maps. It is not all digging and building; there is a lot of paperwork too. L & T Construction has been based here for quite some time now. The floorboards creak a little when you walk over them. We have a coffee machine that is a bit temperamental. Most of the staff are out at the sites, so the office is often quiet during the middle of the day. We keep the files organized as best as we can. It is a practical space. We do not have fancy furniture, just some old wooden desks and basic chairs. We get a lot of mail delivered to 10/1. Sometimes clients come in to talk about their plans for new buildings. We sit around the big table and go over the details. It is a basic setup, but it is where all the planning happens. We have been part of this neighborhood for years.
