Kumkum Beauty Parlour

Our parlour is on the first floor of building number 116 on Akkipet Main Road in Bangalore. It’s right across from the Lakshmi Narayana Temple. Because of the temple, the street is always full of people and there’s often the smell of incense or flowers in the air. You have to walk up a flight of stairs to get to us. The room isn't very large, but we have enough space for the basic beauty services we provide. We’ve got a couple of chairs and a small bench for people to wait. The walls are painted a simple color and we have a few mirrors. It’s a very local kind of place. Most of our customers live nearby in the Akkipet area. We spend the day doing things like threading, facials, and hair work. It gets quite noisy with the traffic on the main road and the temple bells ringing, but we’re used to it by now. The floor is a bit old and the ceiling fan makes a clicking sound, but it keeps the place cool enough. We don't have a big marketing plan or a fancy website. People just see the sign outside or hear about us from their neighbors. It’s just a small, practical parlour where we do our daily work and keep things running.
