Kumar Stores

Kumar Stores is located where Kalyan Nagar meets St Marks Road. It’s a spot where a lot of people pass by every day. We carry a bit of everything, from notebooks to small household items. It’s one of those shops where things are stacked up high. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the people who live on this street. It’s a basic shop with a wooden counter and some old shelves. We don't have air conditioning or bright neon lights. It’s just a neighborhood store. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the road outside. We spend the day sitting behind the counter, helping whoever walks in. It might be someone looking for a pen or someone needing a lightbulb. We don't do anything fancy with the displays. We just put the stock where there is space. St Marks Road can get pretty loud with all the bikes and cars. We usually have the radio playing quietly in the background. It’s a simple way to make a living. We open up in the morning and close when the sun goes down. Most of our customers are just neighbors stopping by on their way home. We like the routine of it. It’s just Kumar Stores, a regular place for regular things. Nothing more and nothing less for the folks around here.
