Kubera Palace Delicacy

If you're looking for Kubera Palace Delicacy, we’re located at Mathikere Sewak Pura Kalsian GS1. It’s a busy little corner of the world. We aren't a palace, despite the name, just a simple place where we cook up whatever is on the menu for the day. The kitchen is visible from the front, so you can see us working. It gets really hot back there, especially in the afternoons. We have a few small tables, but they fill up fast. A lot of the students from nearby come in because it’s cheap and fills them up. We don't have any printed menus, usually just a chalkboard or we just tell you what’s ready. The plates are stainless steel and they’ve been washed so many times they’re barely shiny anymore. Sometimes the delivery guys are standing around waiting for orders, which makes the entrance a bit cramped. We try to keep things moving as fast as we can. It’s not a place for a fancy date, but it’s good for a quick meal when you’re tired. My brother handles the cash and I usually stay near the stove. We’ve been at this spot for a few years now and we know most of the people who walk past the door. It’s just a normal job for us, keeping the pots boiling and the floor clean enough to walk on.
