Komathi Engineering Enterprises

We are over at 65/2 in the Peenya Industrial Area. Komathi Engineering Enterprises has been operating from this same spot for quite a while. The area is pretty much what you expect from an industrial zone—lots of gray buildings, heavy trucks parked along the side of the road, and the constant sound of metal hitting metal. Our workshop is a big open space with a high ceiling. It gets pretty loud when the machines are all running at once. We don't really bother with much decoration. The walls are mostly covered in old calendars and some charts that we have used for years. Most of our days are spent on the floor, working on various engineering parts. It is dirty work. We usually end the day with grease under our fingernails and dust on our clothes. There is a small tea shop around the corner where we usually take a break in the afternoon. That is usually the only time things quiet down. We get all sorts of people coming in with sketches or old parts that need fixing. We just take a look and see what can be done. It is a straightforward life. We don't have a big office or anything. There is just a small desk in the corner where we keep the bills and the phone. It is mostly about the work happening out on the floor. The floors are stained with oil from years of work, but that is how a workshop should look.
