Kohinoor Traders

Kohinoor Traders is located at 15/4 in Chickpet, right across from the Upparpet Police Station. Being opposite the station is very helpful because these lanes can be like a maze for anyone who doesn't come here often. We have been in this same spot for a long time now. The shop is usually packed with stock from floor to ceiling, so there isn't much room to move around. It is a typical trading office in Chickpet. Most of our day is spent on the phone or talking to people who come in to check on their orders. There is a lot of noise from the street, with horns honking and people shouting all day long. We have gotten used to it over the years. We are a small team and we have all worked together for a long time. We don't have any fancy titles or a corporate structure. We just get the work done. The police station across the road means there is always something going on to look at. It is a very busy and sometimes stressful environment, but it is where we have always been. We don't do any promotional stuff or advertising. People just know us from being here for so many years. We open up early and stay until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. It’s just a regular local trade business, nothing more and nothing less. It has been a long journey but we are still here in the heart of the city.
