Knight Unisex Salon

Our salon is located at number 482 in the KHB Colony part of Koramangala 5th Block. If you know the area, we are right across from the Krishna Temple and very close to Jothinivas College. Because of the college nearby, there are always a lot of young people walking past our door. You can hear the bells from the temple ringing in the mornings and evenings, which is actually quite nice while we are working. The shop itself is a unisex place, so we have all kinds of people coming in. Inside, we have the usual setup with the big chairs and the hair washing stations. It gets pretty loud sometimes when the students are out on their breaks, and the street outside stays busy until late at night. We try to keep things tidy, but with hair everywhere, I am constantly sweeping. I’ve spent many years in this spot. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We don’t have a big reception desk or anything corporate. Just a small table where we keep the register and some old magazines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, but that’s just Bangalore for you. It’s a straightforward shop where we just focus on the task at hand. We see a lot of regular faces from the colony who have been coming to us since we first opened the shutters.
