Klassikfoods is located at Basaveshwara Nagar 28th Cross, specifically at Bagalagunte Main Road 57. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area, which is where all the action happens. It gets quite hot back there with the stoves running, so we keep the back door open to let in some air. The building is an older one, but it’s sturdy and serves us well. We’ve been at this address, number 57, for several years. Basaveshwara Nagar is a good place for a food business because there are so many people living nearby. We start our day very early, long before most people are even awake, to get everything prepped and ready. My sister handles all the orders and talks to the customers while I focus on the food. We don't have a lot of space for people to sit, so most of our business is just people picking things up to take home. The street outside, Bagalagunte Main Road, gets really congested in the evenings, so it can be a bit chaotic. We have a small delivery van that we park in the alley behind the shop. It’s a small operation with only a couple of helpers. We don't use any fancy advertising, just the smell of the food and the sign out front. It’s a lot of physical work and we’re usually exhausted by the time we close up, but it’s what we do and it works.
