I’ve been working out of this spot at 29/65 Malleswaram West for a long while. Seshadri Road is always full of traffic, so you hear the horns all day. Most of the folks who stop by are locals from the neighborhood who’ve lived here for decades. It’s a simple setup with a desk, some chairs, and a lot of papers that I keep in folders. I don’t really see the point in having a flashy office with modern furniture because this works fine for what I do. Some days are slow, and I just sit and read the paper or chat with the neighbors who walk by. Other days, three people show up at once and I have to ask them to wait. My family has been in this part of town for years, so everyone knows where to find me. The building is older, and the stairs are a bit narrow, but it has character. I usually open up around ten in the morning after the main rush of traffic has died down a bit. I handle everything myself, from the phone calls to the paperwork. It’s steady work and it keeps me connected to the community here. I’ve seen the street change so much over the years, with new shops opening and others closing, but I’ve stayed put. It’s just a quiet place where business gets handled without any unnecessary fuss or complicated procedures.
