We are over here at No.156 on Narayan Pillai Street. It’s a busy spot and we like it that way. The kitchen usually stays pretty warm because there is always something on the stove. We started doing this a long time ago and haven’t really stopped to look back much. People come in or call us when they have a big lunch or a dinner party at home. We don’t have fancy menus with gold lettering or anything like that. It’s just good food that we know how to cook well. My cousin helps out with the prep work in the mornings and we usually get the deliveries out by noon. Sometimes the street gets blocked by trucks but we manage. We aren't trying to be the most famous place in 560001, just the one people trust when they are hungry. The recipes we use have been around since my father was running things. We don’t change much because there isn't a reason to if it tastes right. You can find us easily if you just look for the number 156. It’s mostly about getting the spices balanced and making sure the rice isn't too dry. Every day is a bit different but the smell of the onions frying stays the same. We hope you like what we make. It’s just us doing what we know how to do on this street.
