You can find us at Jayanagar G T Road 149/40/1. It’s a bit of a mouthful of an address, but once you get here, it’s easy enough to find. This KFC is usually filled with the sound of the fryers and people talking over their meals. Jayanagar is a busy area, and G T Road always has something going on. We see a lot of students and families. The building is older than some of the newer malls, which gives it a bit of character, I guess. We spend our shifts making sure the floors stay dry and the bins aren't overflowing. It’s hard work, but we are used to it. The windows look out onto the street, so you can watch the traffic while you eat. Sometimes it’s a total gridlock out there. We’ve got a small team here. Some of us have been here for years, others are just starting out. We don’t have any big speeches about what we do. We just make chicken and serve it to whoever walks through the door. It gets really crowded on weekends. You might have to wait a bit for a chair, but people don’t seem to mind much. It’s just a normal part of the day for us at 149/40/1.
