Keshivalal Siddhavydya Shala

We are located at 54/2 Krishnarajendra Road, right on Fort C Street. It’s an old part of town, and Keshivalal Siddhavydya Shala fits right in. The smell of herbs and oils is the first thing you notice when you walk inside. It’s a smell that stays on your clothes all day. We deal with traditional methods that have been around for a very long time. There are lots of jars on the shelves filled with roots and powders. We don’t have any bright neon signs or modern furniture. Everything is made of wood and feels a bit aged. People come to us when they want something different from the usual pills you get at a pharmacy. We spend a lot of time grinding things and mixing batches in the back room. It’s slow work, but that’s the way it’s supposed to be. Sometimes it takes a while to explain how everything works to new people. The traffic on KR Road is always moving, but inside it’s usually quite calm. We’ve had the same regulars for years. They stop by to chat even when they don’t need anything. It’s just a small shop where we keep the old ways going. Nothing fancy, just a lot of history in these four walls. We like it that way and so do the folks who visit us. The door squeaks a bit when you open it but we never got around to fixing it.
