Karnataka State High Way Improvement Proje

This project is located out in Neermanvi Village, which sits in the Manvi Taluk of the Raichur District. We are specifically working on the KSHIP U1 package, which is a major part of the state highway improvement efforts in this area. Our setup is a joint venture between NCC and Mytas, so it’s always a busy site with plenty of engineers and laborers moving around at all hours. It’s not an office in a big city; it’s more of a field operations base for the construction. We’re focused on the actual roads, making sure they get built according to the specifications. The conditions in Raichur can get quite hot during the day, and the dust is pretty much everywhere because of all the heavy construction work going on. We don't have any fancy meeting rooms or air-conditioned lobbies. Most of our daily discussions happen right on the site or inside small portable cabins. The main goal is just to get the highway sections finished according to the timeline we were given. Everyone working here wears heavy boots and carries around rolled-up maps. It’s a very practical, hard-working environment for everyone involved. We aren't here to look good for the cameras or anything like that. We just want to see the asphalt laid down properly and the bridges finished. The village of Neermanvi is our home base for now while this package is being worked on. It’s a lot of long hours under the sun, but that is just how road work goes.
