Karnatak Gram Masala

We are based in the Industrial Area, right near the Karnataka Graha Mandali building. It’s a handy landmark for anyone trying to find our shop for the first time. We handle a lot of gram masala here. The smell of the spices is pretty much stuck in our clothes by the end of every day, which isn't a bad thing I guess. We spend most of our time grinding, mixing, and packing the bags. It’s a loud environment because of the machinery we use, but we’ve learned to work around the noise. We don't have a big marketing department or any fancy offices. It’s just us and the spices. We buy what we need, process it, and then send it out to the local shops and kitchens that use it for their cooking. Some days the humidity makes things a bit tricky with the powders, but we manage to get through it. We try to keep a consistent routine every week. People around here know us as the local spot for masala. We don’t make big claims about being the biggest company or anything like that. We just do the work we know how to do. The floor is usually covered in a fine dust of spices, and we’re always cleaning up. It’s honest work that keeps us busy from the morning until the evening. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the neighbors know us well. If you need masala, this is where it happens.
