Kamath S

My name is Kamath S and I work out of my place at 16C Jay Mahal Extension. It’s a relatively quiet area compared to the main city roads, which I find helpful for getting things done. I’ve lived and worked in this neighborhood for a long time, so I know most of the people on this block. My setup is pretty simple, just a desk and the equipment I need for my daily tasks. I don’t have a big staff or a fancy storefront with neon lights. It’s mostly just me handling the files and the phone calls as they come in. People usually reach out when they have a specific problem they need help with. I spend a lot of time reading through documents or working on the computer. Sometimes the neighbors’ dogs bark a bit too much, but you get used to that when you work in a residential extension like Jay Mahal. I like the fact that I can just walk out my front door and be in the neighborhood I grew up in. It’s not a corporate lifestyle, but it’s steady and it suits me just fine. I try to keep regular hours, though sometimes the work carries over into the evening if things get busy. I’ve always preferred this way of doing things—no commute, just a simple walk to my workspace every morning to see what the day brings.
