Kamadhenu Ayurveda Hospital

We are located on First Trust Brahmin Street. It’s an old part of the city, and our hospital fits right in with the surrounding houses. It’s actually an old converted home, so it doesn't feel like a medical facility at all. There are different rooms for the oils and the steam treatments, and a small courtyard in the middle where we dry out some of the plants we use. The street outside can get quite narrow, so parking is always a bit of a headache, but people manage. I’ve been working here since my uncle started the place. We don’t have a marketing department or anything like that. We just have a small board outside the door. Most of our patients are people who live on this street or just a few blocks away. They come in for help with their joints or just because they’re feeling worn out. We use a lot of copper pots and hand-ground powders. It’s physical work, and it takes time. Sometimes the wait is long because we only have a few staff members, but nobody seems to mind much. They just sit on the wooden benches and talk. It’s a very local atmosphere. We don’t try to be anything other than what we are—a small place on a quiet street where we use what nature gives us to help people feel a bit better.
