Kairalee Nilayam School

Kairalee Nilayam School is tucked away at Chiramel House on 8th Cross in Bangalore. It’s a local school where we try to keep things simple for the kids and the families. We aren't one of those massive international schools with huge campuses. Our place is more modest, right in the heart of the neighborhood in Karnataka. You can hear the kids playing during recess from the street, and it’s a sound we’ve all grown used to. The staff here are mostly local people who have been around for a long time. We don’t have a big marketing budget or anything like that. Most parents find out about us because they live nearby or their cousins went here years ago. Bangalore has changed so much with all the tech companies coming in, but our little corner on 8th Cross stays pretty much the same. We focus on the basics and making sure the children have a safe place to learn their lessons. Sometimes the plumbing acts up or we need to repaint a classroom, and we just handle it as it comes. It’s a community effort really. The teachers are dedicated and they put in a lot of hours, not because it’s a high-paying corporate job, but because they care about the neighborhood kids. We are just a small school trying to help the next generation get their start in a very busy world, and that is enough for us.
