K Mart Super Bazar

Down here on Acharya College Main Road, things get pretty lively. K Mart Super Bazar is right near Aldan, which is a good spot because there are always people moving around. Being in Veerashetti Halli, we see a lot of students from the college and also families who live in the back streets. It’s a regular super bazar, nothing too flashy. We spend a lot of our time unpacking crates and putting things on the shelves. Sometimes the deliveries come late, and we have to move fast to get everything out before the evening rush. It’s not always perfectly neat. Sometimes there are boxes in the aisles for a bit while we work. People don’t seem to mind much. They just want to get their rice, oil, or whatever they need and get home. We have a couple of people working the counters and we try to keep the lines moving. It’s a lot of manual work, lifting things and standing on your feet all day. We’ve got a mix of everything on the shelves. If we don’t have something one week, we try to get it the next. We know most of the regulars by their faces. It is nice to see the same people coming in every day. The road outside can get quite jammed with bikes and buses, especially in the mornings. We just keep the doors open and stay busy.
