K G N Drinking Water Supply is located at number 5 on the Hosur Main Road in Madivala. Being right on the main road means it's always loud and there’s always something happening outside our door. We've been providing water from this spot for a good while now. It’s a simple business. We have the cans and the trucks, and we spend most of our time loading and unloading. It’s physical work and it keeps us busy from early morning until late at night. The Madivala area is always crowded, so navigating the delivery trucks can be a bit of a challenge, but our guys are used to the narrow gaps and the traffic. We don't have a fancy office or a waiting room. It's just a place to store the water and keep the accounts. Sometimes people stop by to pick up a can themselves if they’re in a hurry. We know most of the shopkeepers and residents around here. There’s no big marketing strategy behind what we do. People need water, and we try to get it to them. The floor is usually a bit wet and there are empty cans stacked high against the walls. It’s a basic operation but it’s an important one for the neighborhood. We just keep our heads down and do the work every day without making a big deal out of it. That is how it goes.
