Jyoti Nivas College Working As A Lecturer In Psychology Dept

I've been here at Jyoti Nivas College for a while now, specifically in the Psychology department. My daily routine usually involves heading over to the campus, but my actual base is over at 158 7th Cross in Royal Lake Front Residency. It's Phase 3, out in Anjanapura Post. If you know Bangalore, you know JP Nagar 9th Phase is quite a stretch from the main city traffic, especially out near Avalahalli. It’s a quiet spot. Being a lecturer means reading a lot of papers and talking to students, which is what I do most days. I don't really have a big office or anything fancy. It's just a room where I keep my books and some notes for the classes. Sometimes the commute is a bit much because the roads around 7th cross can get a bit dusty when they are doing work. I started this role because I like the subject, simple as that. There isn't much to say about the building itself, just a standard place in the residency area. I spend my mornings preparing lectures and the afternoons grading or meeting people who have questions about the syllabus. It's a regular job, really. Living and working around J P Nagar gives you a feel for how much the city is growing. It used to be much quieter. Now there are more houses popping up every month. I just stick to my schedule and try to help the students.
