We are situated right on Bazaar Street, across from the Amanath Cooperative Bank in Neelasandra. The address is No.38/8a. Being on Bazaar Street means it is always loud and there is always something going on outside our door. It’s a great spot for us because the market is right there, so getting fresh supplies is never a problem. We’ve been in Neelasandra for a long time and we know most of the neighbors. Our kitchen isn't anything special to look at, but it’s where we spend twelve hours a day. We do a lot of catering for local weddings and some of the smaller community events nearby. It’s a lot of physical work, especially when we are preparing rice and curry in those massive metal vats. We don't really do much in the way of advertising, as people just walk in or call us based on what they've heard. Sometimes we get overwhelmed when too many orders come in at once, but we just do our best to keep up. The staff we have are locals who know the area well. We don’t use fancy cooking gadgets, just the traditional stoves and big spoons. It’s a bit dusty and noisy on this street, but that’s just how Neelasandra is. We’ve grown attached to this spot over the years. We just keep cooking and trying to get through the day's work. It is an honest living for us in a busy market area.
