Jr. Sous Chef

Our place is located at 80/A on 19th Main in J.P Nagar 5th Phase. If you know the SMS Layout in Bangalore, you know it can get a bit crowded with traffic. Jr. Sous Chef is just our small operation tucked away in this neighborhood. We spend most of our time in the kitchen area. It’s usually hot and smells like whatever we are cooking that morning. We aren't some massive restaurant chain with hundreds of employees. It's just a few people who really know their way around a stove. We handle a lot of prep work and cooking. Sometimes the floor is a bit slippery from the steam, and there is always a stack of dishes waiting. We've been at this spot for some time now. Bangalore keeps changing around us, but we stay busy in our corner. People in J.P Nagar know where to find us. We don't spend money on fancy ads. We'd rather just focus on the food and getting orders out on time. The 20th Cross can be tricky to navigate if you aren't local, but we like it here. It's a real place with real noise and heat. We deal with ingredients, knives, and timers all day. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. Sometimes we run out of things or have a busy rush that makes us move fast. That is just life in a kitchen like ours. We just keep our heads down and keep the stoves going.
