Joseph Condements

Joseph Condements is situated at a bit of a complicated spot near the Krishnarajpuram Shakar Fly Mithakhali Railway Crossing on Ashram Road. It’s a mouthful to say, and it’s even busier to live and work there. The traffic near the railway crossing is almost constant, so we hear the sounds of horns and engines all day long. We deal with various condiments and food items, which means our place usually smells like spices and vinegar. It’s not a large operation. We have some storage racks and a small area where we handle the orders. Working on Ashram Road means we have to be quick with our deliveries because the road gets blocked so easily. Sometimes the trains at the Mithakhali crossing make us wait for a long time, which can be frustrating when we are in a hurry. Our floors are concrete and a bit stained from some spills over the years, but we keep things clean enough for what we do. We don't have a polished front office or anything like that. It’s just a practical workspace where we get things done. We are just a small group of people working hard near the flyover. We don’t really bother with any promotional stuff. We just focus on the jars and the packets and making sure they get where they need to go. It’s honest, daily work in a noisy part of town.
